A Plea for Sponsorship in 2008
As you may be aware we were unable to hold a Show last year because of the heavy rains leading up to Show day. We are, however, getting ready for the next Show on Saturday 19th July 2008.
Last year Bishop Wilton Show made a loss of nearly £4000 due to the Show having to be cancelled. This is a massive loss which would have been significantly more if it was not for the acts of generosity received from members, sponsors and vice presidents of the show.
The Show Committee has this year decided to change the sponsorship packages to give you more options regarding adverts. Please see the downloadable sponsor form (below) for further details.
Parking arrangements have had to change in order to comply with Health and Safety requirements and risk assessments. The changes mean that the number of cars allowed onto the Show Field has been significantly reduced. Forward parking for VIPs which includes sponsors will be provided next to the Show Field. There will be limited Show Field parking available for disabled persons and VIPs who apply early. PLEASE NOTE THAT SHOW FIELD PARKING IS ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.
You can obtain a sponsor form to complete should you wish to sponsor. Please remember to enclose payment along with your form and any adverts you may wish to include in the Show programme.
