THE NEW VILLAGE HALL
After years of hard work, in August 2008, the village officially received an award from the Big Lottery 'Community Buildings' Fund which will allow the current old and dilapidated village hall to be replaced by a new building that combines the village hall with the sports pavilion.
In October 2008, following on from the Lottery award, the funding strategy was completed by a successful bid for supplemental funding from the Landfill Communities Fund of WREN (Waste Recycling Environment).
The new building will be on the existing playing field replacing the current pavilion.
